Linda Edna Cardellini is the daughter of Lorraine (Hernan), a mother and Wayne David Cardellini (a father) and a businessman. She is Italian via her father's grandfather. Irish by the mother she had, German, English, Scottish and German. Linda was the eldest child of four children in San Francisco Bay, California. It was at the age of ten as she performed as a singer in an annual school Christmas performance. Her school involvement continued with shows and also community theater. Her breakout moment came in the year 2015 when she played the leading role in Cinderella, a fantasy film. Her previous roles included the role of Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period show Downton Abbey. James then portrayed the Countess Natasha Rostova as part of the TV adaptation of War & Peace (2016). She also starred in a number films like Baby Driver (2017) and The Dig -2021. We're Going Again (2019) and Yesterday (2018). The role she played as Pamela Anderson in the biographical show Pam & Tommy (2022) was nominated for a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
