Anya Volz is a New York City-based comedian who hails from Vermont. All over America are describing her stand-up as being surprisingly funny as well as not being preposterous. Taylor-Joy quit school to focus on her acting career at age 16. Taylor-Joy was born April 16, 1996 at Miami Florida. Half English and a quarter Spanish they are the daughters of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father, who is from Argentina, with Scottish and English heritage is her mother. The mother of Taylor-Joy has Spanish as well as English ancestry. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's previous marriage. Her family lived in Buenos Aires from the time she was 6 until they moved to Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy claims the move in London was stressful and she was unable to learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend following her departure from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the productions that the school staged. When she was 16, she left college to focus entirely on acting. Taylor-Joy knew from the beginning that she wanted to be an actress. The opportunity came when Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, offered Taylor-Joy a modelling position.
