LeBron Raymone James Sr., born December 30, 1984 is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). He is known as King James he is widely thought of as one of the most successful athletes of all time. He is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player in history. James was awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVPs as well as three MVPs of the All-Star team along with two Olympic medals. James has the world record of the most number of points scored in the postseason, second highest overall career score and 7th most career assists. He was named as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times and on be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. Ten NBA Finals is the most ever, including eight in a row from 2011 to 2018. In 2018 He was also picked to join the team for NBA's 75th anniversary. In 2021, James was named to make the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022, he became the very first player to ever in NBA history to rack up 10,000 points or more in a career in rebounds and assists. James played basketball during his time at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his hometown from Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media as a potential NBA superstar. As a prep to pro his dream, it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the number one overall pick during the NBA draft in 2003. Following his selection as 2004's NBA Rookie of the Year, he quickly became a top player within the NBA winning the NBA's MVP Award both in 2009 and 2010.
